Villanova University 2023 Finance Challenge - Hackathon Participant

Villanova University took part in the S&P Global 2023 Finance Challenge Hackathon. For the hackathon, 60+ students at the School of Business leveraged S&P Global's rich financial data through our Workbench tool (powered by Databricks). They were challenged to put their coding skills to the test, developing new data models, visualizations & insights on the 2024 trajectory of the Big Tech industry. Constructing a mix of quantitative and qualitative analysis, competing teams created recorded presentations on the topic, alongside sharing the Workbench notebook(s) used. Submissions were then judged by Senior Leaders of S&P Global Market Intelligence.
